Ten To Midnight, by Suzie Lockhart and Bruce Lockhart 2nd, takes you on a ride of uncertainty, one with many stops and detours, until it reaches its climax. And what a climax it is! I never knew what fate had in store for Donnie. It's not easy for a short story to tell a tale of horror like this one does, using the theater of the mind to paint a vivid picture and create a crafty plot within a shorter form. Not many authors can do this. Suzie and Bruce can. They manage to fit all the pieces together in an ingenious, delightfully wicked manner.
