BLAZE MCROB'S PATREON PAGE

https://www.patreon.com/Blaze_McRob

Blaze McRob's Patreon page came out three years ago in October, just in time for that most magic month of the year for horror stories. I have a picture above showing a caption of my one and only tier on Patreon. I priced this at $3.00 per month so that people who love the horror genre can get a lot of bang for their buck.

When I started out on Patreon I wrote:

"I’m a rather diverse writer. Some of my fans refer to me as being the King of Revenge Horror. Others know me for my action stories. Both are right. Add in many other strange quirks and traits and you’ll find a writer who is not bound by any constraints. Horror has always been my first love. At the age of nine, I had already consumed everything written by the great Edgar Allan Poe. So naturally, I will fill my Patreon page with many short stories of the dark, serial fiction novels, flash fiction, Father Blaze Nursery Rhymes, zombie fairy tales, horror poetry, science fiction, and more. There will be untold hours of escapism found in my eclectic tales.

There will be no non-fiction editorials on my page. I would be just another voice crying out in the wilderness. I want none of that. I will deal with whatever issues attack my gray matter the way I know best: using my story people to handle the evil running around on this spinning rock of ours from deep within my soul. My system. It works for me.

Every month, I will have at least a mix of thirty stories, novel chapters, or my other fiction. Everything I post here will not be available to read anywhere else. This place is for my loyal fans and patrons. All this for only $3.00 a month.

All my writings will remain exclusive to Patreon for at least three months after their posting. After that time period, I might make them available for sale elsewhere. However, I will not remove any of my tales from Patreon. My Patrons will still be able to read everything here. And, believe me, that's a lot of reading."

******

Since writing the above, I have added a serialized non-fiction book about running which I'm still adding to, some fantasy, and some totally outrageous novels. So far I have twelve completed novels on Patreon, of which six are exclusive there. I also have one completed novella, four completed novelettes, and hundreds of short stories. I'm also working on seven more novels, novellas, and novelettes.

Thank you for your time. I hope you'll visit my Patreon page and like what you see. My posts will be coming fast and furious! Come along for the ride. You'll find a welcome home here.

Here's a short teaser for this book:

******

There was once a wealthy man who lost his wife and remarried in haste. His second wife was a shrew, so proud and haughty that within a short time he realized his mistake, but the deed was done. Worse than that, she brought into his fine house two daughters who were just like her.

Ah, but his own daughter, a lovely lass, as beautiful on the inside as the outside, was made to feel inferior by the stepmother and her two beautiful but persnickety daughters. The new mistress of the mansion saw fit to have her do all the work that a scullery maid would normally do, while her daughters had not to lift a finger to help around the house. They gave her the name Cinderella because when her work was done, she had to sit amongst the ashes.

But Cinderella did not tell her father what was happening because she realized he was being controlled by his domineering wife and did not wish to cause him any more hardship.

And it came to be that the King’s son gave a series of balls to which the finest in the kingdom would come. There was a longing in his heart to find a proper woman that he might come to love, for even though royal blood flowed through his veins, he was lonely and desperately wanted a love to call his own.

So, it was that her stepsisters should be invited to the biggest ball of all and had Cinderella, who was a Master of Fine taste, assist them in preparing their clothes and hair for the grand event. Even though the two bickered amongst themselves constantly, Cinderella managed to bedeck them in the finest clothing and coiffures imaginable, and they soon left in their carriage, but not before teasing their stepsister that she was not going to the ball.

The pain of doing everything in her power to make her stepsisters look so grand while she had to remain home in her dusty enclave caused her to break down and cry as she was sitting on the edge of the hearth.

“And what might be wrong, my sweet lass?”

Cinderella stared into the face of a short, disheveled woman with raggedy wings. Her face was covered with boils and peeling flesh. Truth be told, she appeared to be on death’s door, but in spite of it all, her disposition was cheery.

“And who . . . and who might you be?” Cinderella asked, shocked at the very presence of this woman.

The woman laughed. “Why, I am your Fairy Godmother.”

“But you look almost like you are dead.”

“Ah, my dear, I am dead, but I am not dead.”

Happy reading, my friends!
