Fiona Mcvie is my Woman In Horror today! Fiona has been doing interviews with great authors for a number of years now. How many author interviews has she done? Over 5,000. She would still be doing more, but she had some problems with her hosting service and was cut short. I can well appreciate her frustration since the same thing has happened to me twice. However, all of her posts are still up at her website  https://authorsinterviews.wordpress.com/ . This is a delight to traverse. If you're looking for a particular author, simply type the author's name into the search button and hit go. Let your author friends know that they can still find their posts there and those of other authors they know.

Fiona, a young Scottish lassie, loves writing poetry, reading, baking, and cooking, but her main mission is to introduce as many authors to readers as she can. My wife, Terri DelCampo, was ecstatic when she was interviewed by Fiona a while back. It was her first interview. She is still thrilled about it.

Writers love to be interviewed. Fiona does an interview with an author, and that author spreads the word around. That author's friends and readers tell other authors and readers and it becomes a huge never-ending love-fest between authors and readers. Don't even try to read all of the posts from the Google search engines. They will boggle your mind. Go to Fiona's website and read some at random and you will see what I am talking about. Check out your favorite authors and see if they're there by hitting the search key Fiona has.

There are many of my Women In Horror who have done interviews with Fiona and the search engines list these interviews in multiple places.  This got me to thinking that my friend Fiona Mcvie is doing a great thing for all authors, women as well as men. I did an interview with Fiona a couple years back which certainly helps to explain a little bit about what my twisted persona is.

Fiona was born in Germany. Her Dad was in the service for twenty one years, so she was lucky to travel a lot. Her family moved to Scotland when she was twelve, and she stayed there ever since. She left school and became a chef until she became a mum. She is single with four children and four grandchildren.

From me, and on behalf of many other authors, I want to thank Fiona for all she has done over the years for so many authors. She gave so much of her time and asked for nothing in return.
